Northern Virginia - February 2019 StatPak with Contract Snapshot from January 2019

CONTRACTS: Contract activity in January 2019 was down 5.2% from January 2018 and was down for all price categories except those homes priced between $300,000 and $499,999. The average number of days on the market for homes receiving contracts was 44 days in January 2019, down considerably from 61 days in January of last year.

Loudoun County - February 2019 StatPak with Contract Snapshot from January 2019

CONTRACTS: Contract activity in January 2019 was down 7.0% from last January but was down in just the two lowest of the six price categories. The average number of days on the market for homes receiving contracts was 51 days in January 2019, down from 56 days in January of last year.

Montgomery County - February 2019 StatPak with Contract Snapshot from January 2019

CONTRACTS: Contract activity in January 2019 was up 3.7% from January 2018 but was down in two of the six price categories. Only one other metro area jurisdiction – Prince George’s County – had an improvement in contracts. The average number of days on the market for homes receiving contracts was 66 days in January 2019, up just one day from 65 days in January of last year.

Prince George's County - February 2019 StatPak with Contract Snapshot from January 2019

CONTRACTS: Contract activity in January 2019 was up 2.4% from January 2018 but was actually down in four of the five price categories. Only those homes priced between $300,000 and $499,999 saw improvement. The average number of days on the market for homes receiving contracts was 59 days in January 2019, up from 53 days this time last year.

Washington, DC - February 2019 StatPak with Contract Snapshot from January 2019

CONTRACTS: Contract activity in January 2019 was down 8.3% from January 2018 was down but actually increased in four of the six price categories. The average number of days on the market for homes receiving contracts was 57 days in January 2019, up from 48 days in January of last year.
